For many in the translucent industry, vertical wall framing systems were designed not for their visual appeal, but out of necessity; the need to capture a specialized panel. At US Daylighting, we have worked with a nationally recognized company in the storefront and curtain wall market to develop our framing systems.

CW8 is 2 ½” profile curtain wall framing system has back members from 2 3/8” to 8” and face caps to meet the design and aesthetic intent of the project. Systems up to 7 ½” overall depth have concealed fasteners.

Because CW8 was developed to be used with either our framing system or with other national manufacturers, US Daylighting can offer several benefits:

• AeroGlass panels and vision lites can be installed in the same wall.
• Wall details are the same for US Daylight’s CW8 as they are for the vision curtain wall in the rest of the building.
