AeroGlass ThermaDivide features a 3" thick all glass translucent panel composed of ¼" clear tempered inboard lite, 2 ½" of Lumira aerogel and ¼” clear tempered outboard lite. The glass panels have a center U value of .05 and can be four-sided structural silicone glazed onto US Daylighting’s fully tested aluminum framing system; thus creating a virtually seamless floor to ceiling glass wall when viewed from the outside.

No exposed aluminum means superior thermal efficiency. The AeroGlass ThermaDivide system is available with 2 ¾" wide profile and an overall depth of 7". Due to concealed mechanical fasteners, which will remain in the frame, the installation process will be accelerated. The translucent panels can also be fitted seamlessly next to clear vision panels.

AeroGlass ThermaDivide does not build up excessive heat like traditional glass units, meaning that the interior surface can be tinted a different color from the exterior without the risk of thermal breakage and the water repelling properties of the aerogel eliminate condensation within the panels.
